# socalbid.lol — Public Social Leaderboard

> A competitive, pay-to-rank public directory for YouTube, Instagram, and X (Twitter) creators. Your rank is determined entirely by how much you bid. No algorithms. No fake metrics. Fully transparent.

## What is socalbid.lol?

socalbid.lol is a real-time public social leaderboard where YouTube, Instagram, and X (Twitter) creators can bid for ranked positions on a transparent, publicly visible directory. The higher your total bid, the higher your rank. Rankings are permanent and update live as bids are placed.

## How It Works

- Any creator can list their public YouTube, Instagram, or X profile by submitting its URL.
- To claim a rank, your cumulative bid must exceed the channel currently holding that spot by at least $1.00.
- Bids start at a minimum of $5.00 USD.
- If your channel is already listed, you only pay the difference to reach a new rank target (incremental bidding).
- Rankings update instantly after payment confirmation via webhook.

## Platforms Supported

- **YouTube** — Public channels (e.g. `youtube.com/@handle`)
- **Instagram** — Public creator or brand profiles (e.g. `instagram.com/username`)
- **X (Twitter)** — Public accounts (e.g. `x.com/username`)

## Boards

- **All-Time Board**: Cumulative lifetime spend, never resets. The primary leaderboard.
- **Today Board**: Tracks bids placed during the current UTC day. Resets daily at 00:00 UTC.

## Bidding Rules

- Minimum bid: $5.00 USD
- Increments: $1.00 USD
- To claim a rank, your total must be at least $1.00 above the incumbent.
- Ties are resolved in favor of the earlier timestamp (incumbents win ties).
- Boosting: If already listed, you pay only the bid difference.

## What Is NOT Sold

socalbid.lol does **not** sell:
- Views, impressions, or watch time
- Followers, subscribers, or likes
- Algorithmic reach on YouTube, Instagram, or X
- Any form of advertising on external platforms

All bids represent a position on the socalbid.lol leaderboard only.

## Refund Policy

All bids are final and non-refundable. Ranks are delivered instantly. Unjustified chargebacks result in permanent listing removal.
